On-site Computer Repair

We specialize in on-site computer repair. What does this mean to you? This means you do not need to unplug your computer, take it to the car, drive it across town, carry it into our computer shop. We set an appointment time. A technician arrives at your location within 30 minutes of the appointed time Repairs are made to your computer and you are back in operation in a short time. Something of great concern to many business owners is their computer and data leaving the business location. When we do the repairs on-site, your computer and important data stay in your office. There are times when a more extensive repair is required. In this case, the technician will transport your computer to our repair facility. The repairs are completed and your computer is brought back to you.

In-shop Computer Repair

We have a complete computer repair facility in our office. We have the skill and ability to repair anything related to the computer industry. No need to bring your computer, we pick-up and deliver as needed. We have a 24-hour policy. We strive to have repairs completed within the time frame. We do not guarantee the 24-hour turn around, but rest assured, we will do everything we can to get your computer back to you as soon as possible. There are times when a more extensive or lengthy repair is required. For example if parts are needed or troubleshooting an intermittent error. In this case it may be a couple of days. When you bring your computer to us, all we need is the system unit. No cables, keyboard, or monitor. In some cases we may need software disks. For a laptop, we will need the power cord for that machine.

Virus / Spyware Removal

Spyware and adware are sometimes, or most of the time, used to describe the same thing. There are some differences. Adware is an Internet advertiser that thinks it would be nice to plant a tracking cookie on your computer. This draws in more advertising from the Internet causing pop-ups, machine slow down, and machine lock-up. Spyware is some software program that is download onto your computer. Sometimes it is downloaded automatically. Sometimes it is disguised as a useful utility and download by the computer user.

Computer Upgrade

There are many things in your computer that can be upgraded to improve computer performance. Ether PC or laptop, adding memory or changing the hard drive can make a marked improvement. Alternately, there are things that cannot be upgraded. The motherboard and processor is pretty much not changeable.

Data Recovery

We have the ability to recover data files that has been lost or deleted. If a hard drive has been formatted, we can possibly recover your data. If the hard drive fails for some reason, we may still be able to recover the data from it. VERY IMPORTANT:  If you realize a file is missing, STOP using your computer. Shut it down immediately and get it to us as soon as you can. Continued use of the computer will cause data files to be over-written and then impossible to recover. We realize the importance of user data files and give our absolute best effort in the recovery process. We do not guarantee the data is recovered. Many factors may deteriorate the integrity of the hard drive and/or the data.
